The stakes couldn’t be higher, especially in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania's cities already have some of the worst air quality in the nation, [1] with low-income towns and communities of color facing some of the worst pollution. But climate change and rising temperatures will do even more damage. More droughts and pests that threaten our farmers and crops. More intense summer heat waves that put people with health conditions — like asthma or heart disease — at serious risk. And stronger storms that will destroy more homes and claim more lives. [2]

We can do better. Right now, only 4% of Pennsylvania’s electricity comes from clean energy!

Our goal is to boost that number to 35% by 2035 and shift Pennsylvania to produce more solar and wind energy – just like large energy-producing states like Texas have already started to do.
