This Earth Day, we’re not just celebrating our planet — we’re defending it.

Because the truth is, the Trump administration is doing everything it can to drag us backwards:

 ❌ Gutting clean energy protections
 ❌ Attacking environmental justice policies
 ❌ Putting profits of Big Oil and Gas CEOs before our health and safety

We are fighting back with bold clean energy legislation that will lower families’ costs, create good-paying jobs, and help reduce harmful pollution.

But getting this done won’t be easy. It’s going to take collaboration — from our community partners, local residents, and lawmakers willing to stand up to polluters. It’s going to take unity — everyday people across Pennsylvania coming together to demand better. And it’s going to take resources — to organize, mobilize, and fight like hell for a cleaner, healthier future.

The stakes couldn’t be higher, especially in Pennsylvania. 

Pennsylvania's cities already have some of the worst air quality in the nation,¹ with low-income towns and communities of color facing some of the worst pollution. But climate change and rising temperatures will do even more damage. More droughts and pests that threaten our farmers and crops. More intense summer heat waves that put people with health conditions — like asthma or heart disease — at serious risk. And stronger storms will destroy more homes and claim more lives.² 

We can do better. Right now, only 4% of Pennsylvania’s electricity comes from clean energy! 

Our goal is to boost that number to 35% by 2035 and shift Pennsylvania to produce more solar and wind energy – just like large energy-producing states like Texas have already started to do.
