Head Start, which serves over 15,000 children in Washington , has just closed its regional office. Pierce County health services are being forced to scale back. An eastside Tacoma elementary schoolyard renovation is on hold. Apple Health – the lifeline for thousands – is under threat.

Make no mistake: these cuts aren’t fiscal responsibility – they’re economic sabotage. Billionaires like Elon Musk and the GOP allies of Trump are making choices that enrich the wealthiest at the expense of our kids’ and seniors’ health.
