Head Start,
which serves over 15,000 children in Washington, has just closed its regional office. Pierce County health services are being forced to scale back. An eastside Tacoma elementary schoolyard renovation is on hold. Apple Health – the lifeline for thousands – is under threat.
Make no mistake: these cuts aren’t fiscal responsibility – they’re economic sabotage. Billionaires like Elon Musk and the GOP allies of Trump are making choices that enrich the wealthiest at the expense of our kids’ and seniors’ health.
We've seen this before. We know that when we stand together, we can defeat them. It’s time to send a clear message: Our families, our health, and our future are not bargaining chips.
