KEY EXAMPLE: 22 states and D.C. sued the Trump Admin. to halt Trump’s spending
freeze. Federal Judge John McConnell, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court for the
District of Rhode Island, is the judge in the case, and he recently ruled to
keep the money flowing.

Over the last 18 years, Judge McConnell has sat on the board of Crossroads
Rhode Island.This non-profit has received more than $128 MILLION in government
funding during this time period, including funds from the federal government
through Rhode Island - a plaintiff in the case. Crossroads now stands to
receive millions more due to Judge McConnell’s ruling.





It seems Judge McConnell failed to disclose his decades-long entanglement with
this federally-funded group or to recuse himself as required by federal law and
judicial canons of ethics…





America First Legal is demanding Judge John McConnell immediately vacate his
temporary restraining order and recuse himself to comply with his ethical
obligations.
