Over the last 18 years, Judge McConnell has sat on the board of Crossroads Rhode Island. This non-profit has received more than $128 MILLION in government funding during this time period, including funds from the federal government through Rhode Island - a plaintiff in the case. Crossroads now stands to receive millions more due to Judge McConnell’s ruling.
It seems Judge McConnell failed to disclose his decades-long entanglement with this federally-funded group or to recuse himself as required by federal law and judicial canons of ethics…
