Looping back on this one, because it's important and we need your help.
This should be simple: No American who clocks out at the end of a long day at work should have to turn right back around to clock in to their second or third job, just to make ends meet.
But that's the reality for far too many hard-working Americans, because it's been more than a decade since we raised the federal minimum wage. Congress can fix this, but we have to hold a vote.
SIGN ON: GIVE AMERICA A RAISE!
House Democrats did our job and passed the Raise the Wage Act to bring long-overdue relief to America's working families. Now, it's the Senate's turn. There's just one problem, and I'm guessing you already know the answer: Mitch McConnell won't hold a vote on this bill.
Look, we're not even asking McConnell to see the light and come to his senses on this issue. We just want him to do his job and hold a vote -- will you join us?
Thanks for standing with me -- and the tens of millions of American workers who've been waiting for over a decade now to get this raise!

Subject: Tell Mitch: Give America a Raise!
To: Gerry Connolly (Personal)
Team,
Too many Americans working two or even three jobs still have to choose between paying their rent, filling their prescriptions, or putting food on the table.
It's no wonder: It's now been over a decade since we last raised the federal minimum wage.
That's why Gerry was proud to stand with House Democrats to pass the Raise the Wage Act last month. This critical bill would raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2025, but Mitch McConnell's already declared it dead on arrival in the GOP-controlled Senate.
We can't let that stand. Will you add your voice to Gerry's and demand that Mitch McConnell holds a vote to give 34 million Americans a raise?
