New Insights on Exclusion trends (2019/20 to 2023/24) [[link removed]]

This Insights publication features NHS Resolution’s Practitioner Performance Advice service’s (Advice) annual analysis of trends in the exclusions of practitioners, looking at episodes of formal exclusion that commenced in the financial years 2019/20 to 2023/24 in England, where Advice was contacted to advise on exclusion episodes. New resources for case management: Principles and Framework for Fairness and Proportionality [[link removed]]

Advice have published new resources to promote fairness and proportionality in case management and decision making by healthcare organisations. Working with subject matter experts, this resource is intended to highlight risks observed from in certain staff roles who are at risk from chemical hazards. Read the resource on our website. Primary Care Appeals successfully engages with ICBs to improve local decision making [[link removed]]

In November 2024, the Head of Appeals and the Appeals service’s Technical Case Manager delivered a session to the Pharmaceutical Services Regulations Committee of the South West integrated care boards on key appeal decisions in order to support effective local decision making.
