Elections for DCC officer leadership positions were conducted. Keep the Dream Alive January 20, 2025 The 2025 MLK Commemoration Celebration and Candlelight March drew over 200 participants and included the Fortune School Drumline, poet laureates, speakers, music, food and hot drinks, along with a memorium to Jim Martin for his legacy of love, kindness, and service. Many thanks to the speakers, poets, musicians, marchers, and participants for a successful 2025 MLK celebration. Placerville Town Hall on Main Street Dr. Michael Saunders, guest speaker Candlelight march along Main Street Taylor Graham, Poet Laureate Rev. The election of the new DNC Chair will occur at the DNC meeting on Feb. 1, 2025.
