EDC Democratic Central Committee (DCC) Annual Reorganization meeting (January 21, 2025)

Election Results

Our annual EDC DCC Organizational meeting was held on Jan. 21 and featured Supervisor Brooke Laine as our guest speaker, great conversations about affordable housing, updates on communication initiatives, and fundraising and organizing work.


Elections for DCC officer leadership positions were conducted. Congratulations to the following newly elected/re-elected officers:

Executive Vice Chair: Frank Porter

  • Combat online disinformation with the INDIVISIBLE TRUTH BRIGADE

Keep the Dream Alive

January 20, 2025


The 2025 MLK Commemoration Celebration and Candlelight March drew over 200 participants and included the Fortune School Drumline, poet laureates, speakers, music, food and hot drinks, along with a memorium to Jim Martin for his legacy of love, kindness, and service.


Many thanks to the speakers, poets, musicians, marchers, and participants for a successful 2025 MLK celebration.

Take Action: The EDC DCC Executive Committee & EDC Club Presidents have endorsed Ben Wikler for DNC Chair. The election of the new DNC Chair will occur at the DNC meeting on Feb. 1, 2025.
