The Reproductive Freedom Alliance filed an amicus brief to support mifepristone access.

The Reproductive Freedom Alliance is a cohort of Democratic governors committed to protecting reproductive rights in their states and across the country. As attacks on mifepristone escalate, they joined together to petition the U.S. Supreme Court to protect access to this widely used abortion and miscarriage medication.

We’re cracking down on fentanyl in Portland.

“Gov. Tina Kotek, along with Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson, on Tuesday declared a fentanyl state of emergency for downtown Portland as drug use, dealing and overdose deaths continue to ravage the heart of Oregon’s largest city.

The aim, they said, is to expand access to addiction treatment and social services, reduce fatal overdoses and crack down on illegal activity.”
