In honor of Dr. King’s legacy, please consider joining a local service opportunity at one of the following organizations.

EcoAction Arlington ([link removed]) is hosting a park clean-up, the National Park Service ([link removed]) is hosting several opportunities for invasive removal and clean-ups at parks in NoVa and Washington, DC, and the Rock Creek Conservancy ([link removed]) is hosting additional clean-ups in Rock Creek Park.

Do you love to garden? You could help create a garden for seniors in Arlington with Volunteer Arlington ([link removed]) or help to clean up the W&OD Trail ([link removed]) .

On January 10 at 9:30 AM, Volunteer Fairfax ([link removed]) is hosting a webinar about the ways individuals and organizations can change policies, practices, systems and structures by prioritizing measurable change in the lives of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.Learn more about ASNV’s work on diversity and inclusion here ([link removed]) , or sign up here ([link removed]) to volunteer to help us expand our outreach to historically underrepresented groups.
