In honor of Dr. King’s legacy, please consider joining a local service opportunity at one of the following organizations.

EcoAction Arlington is hosting a park clean-up, the National Park Service is hosting several opportunities for invasive removal and clean-ups at parks in NoVa and Washington, DC, and the Rock Creek Conservancy is hosting additional clean-ups in Rock Creek Park.

Do you love to garden? You could help create a garden for seniors in Arlington with Volunteer Arlington or help to clean up the W&OD Trail.

On January 10 at 9:30 AM, Volunteer Fairfax is hosting a webinar about the ways individuals and organizations can change policies, practices, systems and structures by prioritizing measurable change in the lives of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.Learn more about ASNV’s work on diversity and inclusion here, or sign up here to volunteer to help us expand our outreach to historically underrepresented groups.

Enjoy our class and event offerings? Please consider supporting ASNV so we can continue to bring you educational (and fun!) programs like this.
