When my family first escaped to America in 1975 from Communist Vietnam, the
average price of a house was just $39,300.

Now, it’s $416,100.

A lot has changed has changed in America since I got here,John.

Out of control spending and irresponsible decision making by out-of-touch
politicians have made opportunities like my family found here scarcer than they
should be in the greatest country on Earth.

As the Left has sunk heir claws into our nation, I’ve watched them try to
destroy the American Dream bit by bit.

I’m not about to let them.

I’m living proof that America is the land of opportunity.

My family escaped communism with little besides the clothes on our backs.

I stepped onto American soil without speaking a word of English.

But by the time I graduated high school, I had earned a spot at the U.S. Naval
Academy.

I spent the next 25 years of my life fighting some of the most dangerous
terrorists on Earth.

It wasn’t easy. But I did it because after all that America gave to me, I had
to dedicate my life to paying it back.

I’m honored to be a part of the great American Dream. But my own success isn’t
enough: I won’t rest until EVERY family in our great country has the same
opportunity that I did.

I can’t defend our American Dream alone. Please, join me today to take it back
from out of touch politicians and pay it forward to hardworking patriots.
