Out of control spending and irresponsible decision making by out-of-touch politicians have made opportunities like my family found here scarcer than they should be in the greatest country on Earth.

My family escaped communism with little besides the clothes on our backs.
I stepped onto American soil without speaking a word of English.
But by the time I graduated high school, I had earned a spot at the U.S. Naval Academy.
I spent the next 25 years of my life fighting some of the most dangerous terrorists on Earth.
It wasn’t easy. But I did it because after all that America gave to me, I had to dedicate my life to paying it back.
I’m honored to be a part of the great American Dream. But my own success isn’t enough: I won’t rest until EVERY family in our great country has the same opportunity that I did.
