It features Cuomo’s own words in an interview with WNYC’s Brian Lehrer, where Cuomo said it would be the “perfect” scenario to eliminate bail for all crimes. The law that was enacted did not apply to several violent felonies, yet it is still causing a public safety crisis with law enforcement, judges and the public all outraged over its impact.
