April 26-27, 2023
?
Join the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) for the tenth annual *Upper Peninsula Materials Management Forum [ [link removed] ]* on April 26-27, 2023. Traditionally, the forum has focused on the latest solid waste management and recycling issues, with a targeted interest toward facilities located in the Upper Peninsula. However, with the Governor?s signing of an eight-bill package modernizing Michigan?s solid waste law last December, *this year the forum will be the first of many events focused on the law changes and EGLE?s plans for implementing the changes*. The goal of the U.P. Materials Management Forum is to foster compliance and economic development, establish?sustainable materials management practices [ [link removed] ], and promote efforts to meet our?
MI Healthy Climate Plan [ [link removed] ]?goals.
