Register for the 2023 Virtual Upper Peninsula Materials Management Forum and hear the latest on recent changes to Michigan's solid waste law!
April 26-27, 2023
?
Join the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) for the tenth annual Upper Peninsula Materials Management Forum on April 26-27, 2023. Traditionally, the forum has focused on the latest solid waste management and recycling issues, with a targeted interest toward facilities located in the Upper Peninsula. However, with the Governor?s signing of an eight-bill package modernizing Michigan?s solid waste law last December, this year the forum will be the first of many events focused on the law changes and EGLE?s plans for implementing the changes. The goal of the U.P. Materials Management Forum is to foster compliance and economic development, establish?sustainable materials management practices, and promote efforts to meet our? MI Healthy Climate Plan?goals.
