It’s hard to believe that it’s almost the end of the first quarter of the 2024 election cycle. Over the last three months, Lizzie and the team have been going to events around the district — connecting with voters and volunteers who have worked so hard to get us where we are today!
From catching up with friends and supporters at home to connecting with national leaders, from Rodeo to Roe v. Wade , we’ve been connecting with #TeamLizzie and talking about what is next for us, and what is at stake in the 2024 election.
Here are just a few highlights for you, including pics from visits with Oak Forest Democrats, Meyerland Democrats, Run Sister Run, RODEO Houston, and NARAL Pro-Choice America.

Lizzie isn’t just focused on campaigning, she’s focused on governing. We’ve all witnessed the chaos that the new Republican House majority has brought — from the dangerous bills they have brought to the House floor in Washington to the important work they are leaving behind or trying to undo. Lizzie is there to keep us moving forward.
As we close Women’s History Month, with all the good we have to celebrate, we are also reminded of how much work we have left to do.
It’s worth noting that #TeamLizzie made history in 2018 by electing the first woman to Congress from #TX07. Now she is working to restore and protect access to reproductive care for women in Texas and across the country, she’s supporting the Paycheck Fairness Act to ensure equal pay for equal work, she’s continuing the work to expand health care access, and so much more.
Through it all, Lizzie has stayed focused on bringing the voice to #TX07 to Washington, D.C. and delivering for her constituents at home.

In case you missed it, Lizzie secured funding to improve Houston METRO’s Westheimer bus route — which runs through the heart of TX-07 and has the highest ridership in all of Texas — including bus stop enhancements, new bus shelters, and easier boarding platforms. Lizzie’s efforts will help ensure Houston commuters have accessible, affordable, and efficient transit options.

This first quarter has kept us all busy! We are so glad to have Collin Steele back on the team again, and to have such engaged and dedicated supporters across the district, the state, and the country. It’s crucial that we continue our work together as a team to elect leaders in Texas and across our country who will support equality, freedom, and justice for all.
Before the quarter is over on March 31, you will hear from us a few more times because these milestones are also deadlines — and it would be a great finish to the quarter if you can help us make our fundraising goal, too! You can help us by donating here. [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a part of the team,
Team Lizzie
