Friends — here’s the truth: I normally wouldn’t send this email.

I don’t like to send too many emails to you. And I try not to reach out over the weekend when many folks are rightfully taking some time for themselves.

But the reason I’m reaching out anyway is because, frankly, we’re behind on our goals and we are just five days away from our first FEC fundraising deadline of the year.

The good news is that five days is more than enough time to get back on track. Based on our math, only a few hundred more people would need to make a contribution for us to beat our deadline goals. That’s less than 0.1% of the people who make up this progressive movement.

And if we did beat our goals, we would be able to send a serious message to the establishment, the far-right, and the corporate Super PACs that a grassroots campaign like ours has the support and the resources to go up against them and win.

So, what do you say? Will you be one of the few who steps up and makes your first contribution to our campaign? Do it before our FEC deadline ends on Friday. [[link removed]]
