He also called on Congress to take legislative action on this issue – and we couldn’t agree more. Lori and her colleagues have been fighting for stronger gun safety laws for years, including reinstating the assault weapons ban that expired in 2004. And last year, she proudly voted in favor of the first comprehensive gun safety legislation package to pass through Congress in decades.
