I know I ask you for support frequently. I always make sure to explain to you why I need to ask for your money and what your contribution will fund. I’ll be completely honest with you — it’s one of the things I like LEAST about running for office.

In fact, here’s a list of my priorities right now that are MORE important than asking you for money:

• Holding Big Pharma accountable for the opioid crisis
• Fighting for women’s reproductive rights
• Ensuring every North Carolinian has access to affordable, quality health care
• Keeping our schools and communities safe
• Paying our teachers a fair and competitive wage
• Defending LGBTQ+ youth from right-wing attacks
• Stopping those pesky robocalls
• Strengthening our social safety net
• Ending partisan gerrymandering
• Expanding access to voting rights
• Controlling the rising costs of everyday goods and services
• Opening up more job opportunities in our state
• Combatting the climate crisis
• Cleaning up our polluted air and waterways

And the list goes on. But here’s the thing: I can’t continue this critical work without the support of this team and the funds to win this campaign for Governor of North Carolina.

So while it’s not on the top of my to-do list, I do need to ask you to chip in just $25 to help my campaign team build the infrastructure we need to win and to continue moving our state in the right direction.
