Dear John,
Today is World Water Day! On this day, it’s hard to not think about the Boundary Waters and its intricate web of crystal clean lakes, rivers, & streams.
*
The
interconnected
waterways
of
this
Wilderness
are
some
of
the
cleanest
in
the
world.
It
is
one
of
the
few
remaining
places
where
paddlers
often
drink
straight
from
the
lake.
*
The
Boundary
Waters
has
a
thriving
ecosystem,
and
is
home
to
hundreds
of
species
like
wolves,
moose,
loons,
walleye,
northern
pike,
and
more
who
rely
on
clean
waters.

*
Last
year,
over
166,000
people
visited
this
watery
Wilderness.
