D.C. Compass workers need a raise

As reported at yesterday's MWC Delegates Meeting, Compass cafeteria workers in Washington, D.C. are demanding a raise. Members of UNITE HERE 23, they feed the students at prestigious universities including George Washington University, American University, Catholic University of America, and Gallaudet University. Compass cafeteria workers prepare meals for visitors and staff at some of the most-visited museums in the country such as the Smithsonian, and at the World Bank.
