There are less than 3 weeks before the most consequential election for
abortion rights and democracy this year, so I’m going to get directly to
the point:

* On April 4th, Wisconsin will elect a new Supreme Court Justice.
Whoever wins will control the balance of power on the court

* If the extreme Republican-backed candidate wins, the right-wing
majority on the court will be protected – a majority that supports
ending fair elections, nearly overturned Wisconsin’s 2020 election
results, and is backed by the same people who funded the insurrection.

* This extreme majority would also support a TOTAL abortion ban

Friends, the implications of this fight extend far beyond
Wisconsin.

I have seven grandkids that are girls and young women.

When the radical Supreme Court made them second-class citizens with fewer
rights last year, I felt a surge of deeply personal anger.

Let me be clear: I’m going to do everything in my power to protect my
granddaughters and yours.

We need to make sure that our children and grandchildren grow up in a
world with free elections and reproductive autonomy. That starts with
returning balance and fairness to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
