Yadira Caraveo portrait

Hi folks, my name is Dr. Yadira Caraveo, and I am proud to represent Colorado’s 8th district in Congress. My friend, John Hickenlooper, asked me to reach out. I’ll share more in a moment, but first, can you split a contribution between my campaign and John’s work to help us keep Colorado blue? >>

Here is my story, and why I’m in this fight. My parents instilled in me that hard work and caring for others are the values that build strong communities and family. After becoming the first person in my family to graduate from college, I chose to be a pediatrician in Adams County to give back to my community – to the folks that raised me.

But I quickly understood that truly helping children and families would take a lot more than what I was able to do as a doctor. That’s why I ran for Congress. I wanted to continue my commitment to Colorado families and build on my work in the state legislature to lower health care costs, address the high cost of living, and protect a woman’s right to choose.

In 2022, I made history as the first Latina elected to Congress in the state of Colorado. But it wasn’t easy. The GOP and their dark money groups put up a fight, spending over $8,000,000 to attack me. But thanks to the support of my incredible grassroots team, we fought back and won.

And I know Coloradans are no strangers to a tough fight — John Hickenlooper’s incredible grassroots team helped him overcome tens of millions of dollars in right-wing attacks to flip Colorado’s Senate seat blue in 2020.

Now, we’re facing an uphill battle to deliver a Democratic majority in both chambers of Congress. MAGA Republicans will do everything they can to stop us, and we’re relying on folks like you to help us fight back. That's why I’m humbly asking: Will you split a contribution between me and John Hickenlooper and help us keep Colorado blue?
