Republican politicians in Des Moines are advancing mean-spirited and frankly dangerous bills that will make life harder for Iowa families in need, our educators, our LGBTQ youth, and many others.

But Iowa Democrats are showing up and listening. We recently had town halls in Council Bluffs and in Johnston and people are saying the same things: they want good schools for their kids, a good paying job, and to feel safe in their community.

That’s what we’re fighting for every day at the Capitol and why we need to elect more Democrats to the Senate.
