This next week might be one of our busiest yet — we’ve got multiple calls to action that Mothers Against Greg Abbott needs your help with. Whether you can come testify in person or if you can call or email a member of the #TXLege, please know that everything we do together matters.

A few things to remember:

☞ Instructions related to public access to meeting locations are available here.

☞ Texas residents who wish to electronically submit comments without testifying in person can do so by submitting this form. Comments will be accepted up until the time a hearing is adjourned.

We need your voice to call House Public Education Committee members and let them know why you oppose House Bill 900, which legislates book banning.

The public hearing on HB 900 is this Tuesday, March 21st @ 8AM at the Texas Capitol in room E2.036.

We need everyone to call, email and testify against this BAD bill. Or proudly display your Mothers Against Greg Abbott yard sign and show how you feel.

School Vouchers

We need your voice to stop public money being sent to private schools.

The next Senate Education Committee hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 22nd @ 9AM in room E1.028 at the Texas Capitol. This hearing is all about Education Savings Accounts, aka vouchers, for private schools.

OPPOSE Senate Joint Resolution 29, Senate Bill 8, Senate Bill 176, and Senate Bill 2354.

We must fight for public schools! We need everyone to call, email and testify. Or, grab our newest yard sign to show your support for public education.
