Introducing our new weekly newsletter...
If you're having trouble viewing this email, you can see it online.

Hello, True Texans friends!
They say change will do you good... so we're gonna try something new.  We're going to declutter your inbox!  Yay!

Going forward, we will email you the True Texas Newsletter every SundayLook for it!

It will contain all the essential things you need to know for the upcoming week in one place, like meetings, events, and Capitol updates.  We'll take a look at the week past, and look forward to the week ahead.

This will replace the bulk of the emails you get, but we'll still send out special emails for things we really want to draw your attention to.

This would be a good time to remind you that if you have not indicated on your account which county you live in, you're likely getting emails for ALL counties, and that's a lot!  Just update your profile to tell us which ones you want. ⇐⇐⇐

Ok, let’s get to it!

Welcome to this week’s True Texan Newsletter!  Let us know if you like it!

Team True Texas is in the Capitol.
Seven students gave up a day of spring break to learn about their government.

Legislative wins🏆

While the woke mob stormed to the Texas Capitol to whine about bills defending kids from gender ideology, OUR activists spent the week talking to lawmakers, attending and testifying at hearings, and holding events around the state.  Our energy is leading to action, and while the fight is still very much ongoing, conservatives are winning.

    • After TTP activists and conservatives from around the state sounded the alarm that a pro-LGBTQ resolution hidden in a large package of resolutions would be coming up for a vote, the author was forced to pull it down.
    • Multiple conservative pieces of legislation are moving in the Senate. Two important bills - one to protect girls' sports and another to ban taxpayer-funded lobbying, have both had public hearings and are pending in committee.
    • Read a complete rundown on the action at the Capitol by visiting our website here.  These legislative updates from Fran Rhodes will still come to your email inbox every Friday throughout session.

Can you believe it? Texas Tough is just a month away. 😯
