John,

Earlier this month, I was proud to support the passage of the Removing Extraneous Loopholes Insuring Every Veteran Emergency (RELIEVE) Act.

This bill will allow the Veterans Affairs Department to reimburse veterans for emergency medical care at non-VA facilities during the first 60 days of their enrollment in the VA’s health care system, ensuring that veterans are able to seek emergency medical care without fear of costly medical bills.

The RELIEVE Act is just one of many steps I’ve taken to ensure veterans, members of our armed forces, and their families are taken care of. As a member of the Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and co-chair of the Congressional Military Family Caucus, I will continue to do my part to make good on our promise to provide support and take care of our military service members who have bravely sacrificed so much for our country.

John, as long as I am in office, I will stand up for those who have served our country, those who are currently serving, and their families. Will you help me stay in office to ensure I can continue this critical work?
