Friend —

Climate change is devastating California in our strangest winter yet. We’ve seen it all — snow covers the northern terrain of our golden state while atmospheric river storms and runoff flooding are forcing evacuations, power outages, and road closures.

In a state that was facing drought for the past two decades, the domination of snow and rain is causing an unprecedented amount of damage to the infrastructure of the state — roadways are being flooded, caused landslides and toppled trees — and it’s all a direct result of climate change.

We cannot continue to watch our planet perish. These storms are a result of the man-made climate crisis, and we must act now to fix it.

The United States must lead the global community on climate action because Congress can make the difference the world needs to protect our planet before it is far too late.

California has proven solutions to tackle climate change, and Robert himself has been a climate leader in Long Beach. He is advocating for California's aggressive action on climate in Congress, but he is counting on your support so he can continue to lead the fight.

So if you can afford to do so, please add a contribution to support Robert Garcia’s campaign for Congress. Every dollar you contribute will make a difference. [[link removed]]

When you support Robert, you ensure we have the resources to keep him in Congress to pass transformative climate policy.

Thank you for supporting our movement and protecting our planet.
