Dear John,
With the looming threat of additional restrictions limiting access to safe and legal abortion, it is important that we work to mobilize our personal networks and demystify common misconceptions about abortion. Please join us on Saturday, April 1 from 1-3:30pm in Raleigh for our next Abortion Activist Training.
This training is designed for individuals wanting to engage in defending abortion after the fall of Roe, primarily to help people have conversations with their own networks. Registration for this event is set at $25. Space is limited so please register early.

The training includes a messaging workshop, a mock conversation exercise, policy updates from progressive legislators, and details on upcoming volunteer and advocacy opportunities.
The training will be facilitated by Destiny Lopez (she/her/hers), a respected executive leader, facilitator, and strategist, with two decades of experience working at the intersections of policy advocacy, communications, coalition building, and reproductive justice. Most recently, she served as co-president of All* Above All and All* and the All* Above All Action Fund, which envision a world where abortion care is affordable, available, and supported for everyone who needs it. At the forefront of some of the movement’s most important fights and iconic campaigns – from getting emergency contraception behind the counter to repealing the Hyde Amendment – her career has focused on a relentless commitment to abortion access and building the political power of BIPOC communities.
We hope to see you there!
In solidarity,
Sarah Preston
Executive Director
