Last June, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade, wrongfully ending the Constitutional right of a woman to terminate a pregnancy and triggering a nightmare in anti-choice states where more than 58% of all women live. That was 9 months ago and the nightmare continues today.

Join us to keep fighting back: [link removed]

Since the Court's Dobbs decision we have seen women in our country denied reproductive healthcare — even in cases where their lives are in jeopardy — and women, including victims of rape and violence, forced to drive long distances to neighboring states for care or forced to give birth. Since Roe was overturned an increasing number of women have relied on FDA’s two-decade-old approval of certain drugs used to terminate a pregnancy.

But this week in Texas a radical Trump judicial appointee is overseeing a case that could ban women's access to the abortion medication mifepristone — a decision that would impact women across the country regardless of whether or not they live in states that protect reproductive rights.

This nightmare will continue until we stop it by confirming more qualified, top notch judicial nominees to the federal bench to defend our democracy and restore faith in our judiciary. And that's what we are hard at work doing in the Democratic-controlled Senate. Give here to chip in to support our fight to protect the Senate majority and our fundamental rights: [link removed]

From the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision to Citizen United, which opened the floodgates of secret dark money in our elections, we have seen the dangerous consequences of not having the Senate votes to confirm qualified judges and to block unqualified extremist ideologies. It will take time to overcome the damage inflicted on our judicial bench during the Trump Presidency, but we are working at it every day.

Federal judges that respect the Constitution are not only critical to protecting our democracy and our fundamental rights — but they have life-time appointments!

Thank you for all you do to protect and strengthen our democracy!

Onwards,

Chris
