Hey, it's Sophia, the Field Coordinator for Schools & Communities First!

At the beginning of the year, I shared with you my resolutions for 2020 and invited you to join me in accomplishing them together...

I'm excited to share that I have succeeded in reducing my plastic waste ✅ and eating more vegetables ✅, AND thousands of volunteers across California have joined me in doing our part to collect the 1.6 MILLION signatures we need to put Schools & Communities First on the November ballot!

That's why I'm reaching out to you as my resolution buddy to help hold each other accountable to make sure we actually complete this resolution! Will you join me in completing this resolution before Valentine's Day?

Will you commit to gathering 20 signatures before February 14th to get Schools & Communities First on the ballot?

I know New Year's Resolutions might be a little cheesy, but I also believe that we can collectively be a force for positive change. Reducing waste is how I think globally, while helping get the signatures to put Schools & Communities First on the ballot is how I act locally ...

That's because if Schools & Communities First passes, we would reclaim $12 billion a year for our schools and vital local services, so we could hire more teachers, clean our water, and strengthen local health services!

[JOIN ME] Let's collect 20 signatures to get Schools & Communities First on the ballot >>

I'm glad to have you as a resolution buddy -- Let's do this!

The Schools & Communities First initiative reclaims $12 billion every year for California’s schools and local communities by closing commercial property tax loopholes benefiting a fraction of corporations and wealthy investors. The initiative benefits residents and small businesses by exempting homeowners and renters from any changes while implementing new tax relief for small businesses.

Paid for by Schools and Communities First - Sponsored by a Coalition of Social Justice Organizations Representing Families and Students. Committee major funding from:
