🚨🚨🚨This is a BIG win for our movement, John!

President Joe Biden just signed an executive order increasing background checks, holding the gun industry accountable, and directing the FTC to issue a report on gun manufacturers' advertising practices.

During his visit to Monterey Park, Biden also announced that he will direct his Cabinet to make full use of the laws already on the books, including the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, to tighten background checks and direct the ATF to release records on firearms dealers who violate the law and put our communities in danger.

This is HUGE and these actions will save lives.

Last year, we met with the White House to demand that President Biden do whatever he could to fight this epidemic. Today, he did just that, and he did it because activists like you and I demanded that he do it. But we’ve got to keep the momentum going.
