By now, I’m sure you’ve heard how much is at stake in this election cycle, especially because the House majority is not in our favor. But we don’t talk enough about our secret weapon — goal-setting.

Every three months, our team sits down and decides on a quarterly budget. Then, we set a few smaller goals to keep us on track — like our mid-month fundraising goal coming up this Wednesday.

After our deadline passes, we’ll evaluate if we’re on course to send a strong report to the Federal Election Commission at the end of this month. This report will go public, and everyone from political pundits to shady special interest groups will come through it, looking for signs of weakness.

If we look weak, Republicans will undoubtedly begin launching relentless attacks on our campaign. We need a sturdy foundation powered by grassroots donors like you to keep far-right megadonors at bay.
