Dear John,

Have you emailed the House Behavioral Health and Health Care Committee about House Bills 2002 and 2279?

HB 2279, which opens up Oregon's death industry to the whole country, is scheduled for a work session today where the committee will likely vote on it.

HB 2002 radically expands abortion and requires that, unless a child gives explicit, written permission to the provider, parents be left in the dark if their child has an abortion.

If you haven't yet, use our tool to tell the committee to vote NO on HB 2002 [[link removed]] and HB 2279 [[link removed]].

Here’s why you should email the committee:

HB 2002

Removes any age limit on children receiving abortions.

Prohibits any information from being shared with a child's parents unless the child provides explicit, written permission.

HB 2279

Removes the residency requirement, endangering vulnerable people in every corner of the country.

Expands Oregon's euthanasia industry, making it easier for death doctors to kill their patients.

Please let the committee know about your opposition to these bills and watch for opportunities to provide testimony and attend important committee hearings. Also, encourage your pro-life friends to sign up for these email updates and invite them to join you at hearings. Let's make our voices heard.
