The answer is simple: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is visiting our state, and Iowa Republican politicians are rolling out the MAGA Red Carpet for him. The Dangerous DeSantis Agenda is completely out of step with the values that we hold dear in Iowa.

Bluntly, his extremist views are antithetical to everything that we stand for. He seeks to divide our communities and stoke fear and hatred, pitting families against each other. He has no regard for the common good, and in Florida, he has been willing to sacrifice the well-being of his state for his own narrow political agenda — and it’s no secret that he is best buds with Governor Reynolds.
