Friend, We all saw what happened on January 6th. It was a murderous insurrection. A coup. A domestic terrorist attack incited by Trump and his army of misfit minions. In a world before Trump and Fox and MAGA, an attack on American soil by American citizens never would’ve happened. But even if it did, our political leaders would’ve accepted the truth from that day and rallied together to stop it from ever happening again. But that’s not the world we live in. Fox News and the MAGA faithful in Congress are trying to distort the narrative (even though we know Fox is laughing at their viewers behind closed doors). Every night, Tucker Carlson is attempting to recast one of the darkest moments in American history as a… peaceful tour of the Capitol. Why? Ratings, money, and a pathetic attempt to keep Trump on his side after privately admitting he despises him (wouldn’t it be a shame for Tucker, if we kept reminding Trump about those embarrassing Fox texts)?
