Happy Monday, folks — or, wait, isn’t today Thursday? Uh oh.

Every day, Americans rely on the US Postal Service for a whole range of essential, timely services — from receiving prescription medications and Social Security checks to sending mail and election ballots.

But here in Colorado — particularly in our rural and mountain towns — delays and gaps in services are causing HUGE issues.

Coloradans have encountered ongoing delays in mail and package deliveries, and when they go to their local Post Office to seek help, they’ve had to wait in line for hours due to staff shortages and cuts to operating hours.

The Postal Service is obligated to provide prompt and reliable service to all Americans — but here in Colorado, they’re simply not living up to that promise.

So this week, we met with Postmaster General Louis DeJoy in Washington to analyze these problems and propose solutions to get our communities back on track — like revamping infrastructure at Colorado Postal Service facilities and partnering with towns and communities to find affordable housing for Postal Service workers.

But we need you to stand up with us. So folks, will you add your name alongside ours to keep the pressure on Washington to resolve these problems? >> [[link removed]]
