On Monday, I was thrilled to present our Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 budget. And even though the words ‘budget’ and ‘smile’ don't often go together, the following headline is exactly what this budget is about – building a resilient Richmond for generations to come.

My structurally balanced and fiscally responsible $3.0 billion budget will advance the City of Richmond through continued investments in education, affordable housing, community assets, public safety, city services, and public servants.
