John,

I founded Food & Water Watch believing everyone should have access to clean water.

We celebrate 30 years of World Water Day on March 22. We’ll be highlighting our water program throughout the month.

Thanks to you, our team is expanding our water campaigns and organizing in 2023 to prevent water system privatization, end corporate water abuses, and upgrade our water infrastructure to ensure everyone can access clean affordable water.

Some of our plans for this year include:

Partnering with local universities to do free water testing for people impacted by the recent train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

Taking legal action against the Environmental Protection Agency to compel it to regulate factory farm pollution.

Their neglectful approach to regulating factory farms has allowed the industry to pollute our waterways.

Passing the WATER Act, landmark legislation to restore federal support for clean water systems.

Launching Protect California’s Water, a new statewide campaign to address Big Oil and Big Ag corporate water abuses.

Fighting a water privatization deal in Salem City, New Jersey, and working in Pennsylvania to defeat proposed water privatization legislation.

Fighting against the large agricultural and oil and gas corporations that use vast amounts of water while millions lack access to reliable water and their water sources run dry.

Water is a basic human right. I’m truly grateful that you are there with us in our work to protect everyone's water.

Onward together,
