Justice Democrats

John,

New York Democrats really ‘fumbled the bag’ this last cycle:

The New York Times: ‘The Democratic Party in New York Is a Disaster’

The Democratic Party in New York spent more time and energy fighting progressives in the primaries than keeping seats in the generals. They lost seats.

On the other hand, Justice Democrats have recruited and played a major role in working to elect two progressives in New York City — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman. Maybe if New York Democrats focused more on helping their candidates run successful campaigns like we do, instead of tearing down progressives like former Justice Democrat Rana Abdelhamid, the party wouldn’t be hemorrhaging critical seats.

We operate on a shoe-string budget and spend every single dollar that we receive in the most effective way possible to elect progressive candidates.

Will you contribute $3 right now to help us continue to elect progressives across the country? So much goes into recruiting candidates and helping them win — unlike the Democratic Party of New York, our success record speaks for itself.

We’ve accomplished so much in only a few years because of our grassroots supporters. It all started with recruiting and helping to elect AOC. Then we re-elected the Squad and powered upset victories for Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and Summer Lee. A powerful bloc fighting for the people is forming in Congress, and we’re determined to grow it even more.

Unlike the Democratic establishment and the New York Democratic Party, we will continue to fight to elect candidates who will actually fight for policies that match the scale of the crises we face — and we’ll never fumble the bag like New York Democratic Party leadership did last cycle.

Please make your best gift right now to help us continue this work of recruiting candidates and supporting their campaigns from day #1.
