The Texas Music Office (TMO) and Visit Corpus Christi held a Music Friendly Texas workshop on Thursday, February 16 in Corpus Christi as part of the inaugural Coastal Bend Music Industry Symposium. Granbury Becomes the 40th Music Friendly Texas Certified Community [ [link removed] ]

The City of Granbury, having completed the multi-step certification process, has been designated as the 40th Music Friendly Texas Certified Community by the Texas Music Office (TMO). The Music Friendly Texas program, the first in the nation since introduced by TMO in 2016, seeks to foster music business-related economic development and job creation in Texas cities and communities.

We are back to sharing a recap of TMO Community Relations and Outreach Specialist Chip Adams? travels throughout the state. Chip manages our Music Friendly Texas Program [ [link removed] ], the only one of its kind in the country since 2016, and includes 40 certified cities throughout Texas, and growing every day.?This month, Chip made trips to the Woodlands, Corpus Christi, and Granbury, and had the opportunity to meet up with several existing and potential Music Friendly Texas Communities in the region.
