NARAL Pro-Choice America

John,

You've probably heard by now about the federal lawsuit in Texas that could ban medication abortion as we know it nationwide.

But what you might not know about is the shady right-wing group that brought this outrageous lawsuit in the first place, the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine (AHM). That's because they're a completely illegitimate, sham organization that didn't even exist until late 2022.

This group is just part of anti-choice extremists' cruel, yet disciplined, plan to ban abortion nationwide. We're preparing to act no matter what the judge decides—but we need your help to do it. Will you donate right now?

In NARAL's latest research report, we explained how AHM deliberately chose to incorporate in Amarillo, Texas (despite having a Tennessee mailing address 👀) where the overwhelming majority of cases are assigned to Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk—an anti-choice, Trump-appointed judge with a history of attacking reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ equality, and more.

The anti-choice movement strategically designed and deployed AHM to file this lawsuit and push for a backdoor nationwide ban on medication abortion as we know it.

This scheming is shocking—but not surprising. Anti-choice extremists have proven time and again that they have no problem bending the rules to fit their agenda, despite how unpopular it is.

The decision in this lawsuit could come at any time—we need your help to prepare for whatever this judge decides.

Will you pitch in right now?

In solidarity,
