Dear John,
Join us in-person on Tuesday, March 14 at 7:00pm for our Women's History Town Hall: 100 Years Since Lillian Left the Legislature. 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of Lillian Exum Clement's departure from the North Carolina General Assembly. This free event will highlight the accomplishments of progressive women in North Carolina politics. We'll have a keynote speaker in addition to a dynamic panel of elected officials who serve on boards where women have majority representation.
The event will be held at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh (3313 Wade Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27607). Register here! Our panelists will include: - Commissioner Brenda Howerton, Chair of the Durham County Board of Commissioners
-
Commissioner Wendy Jacobs, Vice-Chair of the Durham County Board of Commissioners
- Councilor Stormie Forte, Raleigh City Council At-Large
We hope to see you there! In solidarity, Sarah Preston Executive Director
PS: This event is free to attend, but you can make an investment in our work to recruit, train, and elect progressive, pro-choice women here. |
