John, By the time you finish reading this email, a Latino young person will turn 18.

And, by the next presidential election, 4.1 million young Latinos will reach voting age.

These youths will be key to keeping the White House and Senate blue and taking back the House in 2024. Based on Voto Latino’s proven strategy, we know that about 75% of the young Latinos we register to vote will cast a ballot in the general election. And they mostly vote for Democrats.

To make our communities' voices heard, we need these 18-year-olds to register to vote and get engaged before next year. It costs about $24 for Voto Latino to register a Latino young person and mobilize them to vote, and there are hundreds of thousands of potential voters we need to reach. Will you pitch in now to support our work?

Our work to educate and empower young Latino voters has never been more important. That’s because right now, Republican lawmakers across the country are working to discourage and depress turnout with onerous voter suppression laws.

These anti-democratic laws are especially prevalent across the South, where experts predict young people will expand the Latinx electorate by two-thirds over the next decade. Make no mistake: The GOP is trying to silence the voice of a growing generation — and they're even bragging that their efforts are working!

Young Latino voters will be pivotal to the 2024 election, and their decision to vote (or stay home) could make-or-break our chances of electing a Democratic president, keeping the Senate blue, and taking back the House. Republicans know this, and they’re acting on it — if we want to beat them next year, we must fight back.

Every $24 we raise helps us reach one more voter in a battleground state. Can we count on you to contribute $24 today?

We wouldn't ask if it weren't incredibly important.

— Voto Latino
