Dear John,

I know I probably don't need to tell you this, but Washington is broken.

But, with a new Republican Majority in the House, there is hope that we can make some long overdue changes to how business is conducted.

For too long, the swamp cartel of special interests and career politicians have put Washington elites first, not the American people.

The swamp cartel gave us $31.5 trillion in national debt. It gave us COVID mandates and lockdowns. It gave us a weakened, woke military. It imposed radical harmful ideology in our classrooms. And it gave operational control of our Southern Border to Mexican drug cartels who are profiting from desperate immigrants and a pipeline of fentanyl and human trafficking.

But during the Speaker fight last month, we demanded accountability from the Republican establishment who expected us to just get in line and do what we were told. We put them on notice that we plan to actually fight for the American people who gave us this majority to STOP the radical Biden agenda. We spoke up for the millions of Americans who sent us here. As a result, we DID get a commitment to significantly change how Congress operates.

… To stop special interest "Christmas tree" bills.

… To end the reckless, runaway spending.

… To give elected Representatives more power to do the jobs they were elected to do, rather than concentrate all the power in the hands of an elite few.

I was proud to withstand the pressure, and you can count on me to stand up and fight to keep the commitments we just made to the American people.

But those invested in the old status quo don’t like the stand I took for YOU last month.

I once heard it said about DC politicians that too many candidates run against the swamp back home, but when they get to Washington, they all fail to keep their promises. However, I have been different, and I have kept my promises.

We have a very narrow window to save our great nation from those on the left who are doing everything they can to destroy it. I am determined to do what needs to be done, and I am not afraid to speak the truth to those who are more concerned about their own personal interests than they are about fighting for you.
