Hey Jack,

After every election, we hear BIPOC voters complain about how other folks send in canvassers to ask for votes, only to ghost once results are in. That’s why it’s so important to stay authentically present in communities and prove that political participation really can impact their quality of life. Delivering on BIPOC voters’ top needs- housing, safe streets, good jobs, clean water- is determined by city budgets, so we’re ecstatic to launch our “BIPOC Participatory Power” pilot.

In a nutshell, we’re drawing in BIPOC voters by providing a transparent account of how their city spends their tax dollars, discussing their pain points. and then recruiting them to weigh in with their city council. Not only does this make officials take notice, it gets Black and Brown voters hooked on flexing their political muscles.

This is the kind of year-round, fully inclusive power building we need to get BIPOC voters fired up. While NNCP is lean, we can’t do it without resources to keep our dedicated organizers, researchers, and canvassers on the ground. Your support is mission critical for building decisive BIPOC turnout. Can you chip in just $3, $5, or $10 to help us keep the momentum going?

Jack, we at NNCP appreciate you so much for having the vision and courage to help us connect more effectively with Black and Brown voters. Your support is making a real difference and together we're building a true democracy for all.
