The end of February always sneaks up on me. The month is almost over, and what a month it’s been.

President Biden delivered one of the most masterful State of the Union addresses in our history, laying out his priorities for the nation — priorities I’m proud to support and fight for in Congress.

House Democrats have held strong against a MAGA majority, bolstered by President Biden and an expanded Democratic majority in the Senate (thanks to our re-electing Rev. Warnock).

Meanwhile, Kevin McCarthy is bowing left and right to extremists, giving them everything they asked for. He’s cozied up to Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is now calling for an end to the United States; he’s elevated some of the most extreme voices in his party to incredibly important committee roles; and he’s given all the January 6th video footage directly to Tucker Carlson.

We will continue holding the line against Kevin McCarthy, but the way we go back on offense and fully deliver for Americans is by retaking the House majority from Republicans. And Republicans have a headstart in their fundraising because of their corporate donors with deep pockets. So I’m challenging my team to raise $2,000 in the next two days of grassroots fundraising. It’s a big goal, but if each of my supporters gave ten dollars, we’d exceed our goal by a thousand-fold.
